Shipping FAQ
How much will it cost:
If you select the items you require the shipping can be seen in the shopping basket before you enter all your address and payment details. The majority of parcels cost £7.50.
Why do
parts of Scotland and Northern Ireland cost more to ship to:
We are
charged a premium to ship to these addresses by our courier. Most of what we
send is too large or too valuable to send via the post office.
Which
Postcodes are effected:
There is a £6.00
surcharge for the following postcodes All of IV, KA27-28, PH17-26 30-44, 49-50
PA20-49 PA60-78, All of KW, ZE1-3, HS1-9, KW1-14 and all Channel Island post
codes . There is a £10 surcharge on all of the following post codes
KW1-14, IM1-9, TR21-25, All of BT post
codes.
How do you ship :
Most items are sent via Parcel Force on a 24hr courier. Smaller items are sent with the post office.
Where items are sent direct from manufacturers other carriers can be used.
How quickly do you dispatch:
Where orders are placed up until 2pm we aim to dispatch same day . This is our goal but during very busy periods this is not always possible, and orders will be dispatched the following day. Dispatch is subject to the product being stock.
What happens if you are out of stock:
We hold very large stocks of all the popular items but in busy periods we can sometimes run out for short periods. If this occurs and it looks like it will hold up the order for more than a couple of days we will contact you to advice of the delay and where possible suggest an alternative. We will part dispatch where possible so not to hold up the whole order.
What does 24hr carrier mean:
In terms of couriers 24hr mean the next working day. This does not include weekends or bank holidays. Saturday deliveries are available but do cost extra.
Is next working day day guaranteed:
In a word NO. Couriers do make mistakes, lorries can break down , parcels can be misrouted . Not all addresses are easy to find. Most couriers give a 99% next day success rate but no system is perfect.
What happens if it does not arrive:
You will receive an email from us on the day it is dispatched if you have not received the parcel 48 hours after that please give us a call or send an email and we will track the parcel and arrange to get the parcel to you ASAP
What happens if I am out :
The courier should leave a card to say he tried to deliver and details of the depo so they can be contacted to arrange re delivery when you are in.
What happens if the parcel is damaged:
If when the parcel is left you can see it is damaged please sign for it as NOT CHECKED or PARCEL DAMAGED . Please report and damaged goods to us within 48 hours so we can sort out replacements etc.
International:
Do you ship internationally:
Yes we regularly ship to Europe via a fully insured and tracked courier
Can you be more specific as to what countries you have supplied:
Eire, France,
Germany, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Malta, Bulagria, Greece
How do I arrange to ship to Europe :
Hopefully your country will be availble in the drop down box . If you select that it will modify the shipping accordingly
Can you ship outside Europe:
Yes we have supplied to India, Pakistan , Malaysia and Iran, but you will need to call or email as the shipping is a lot more involved and this cannot been done directly via the web site.
