Use this grid to give a good indication of the distances around or across your field. This is based on a perfect square field ( yet to find one in the real world ) so when in doubt round up . There is nothing worse than running out of tape 10 meters short.

A= Acres
B= Meters across
C= Meter perimeter

so 1 acre is 65 meters across and 250 meters around.
