9 Volt Energisers
These run from a dedicated 9v Dry cell battery. These batteries are especially design for electric fencing and are available all over the UK and Europe
Advantages :
Light , much much lighter than 12v batteries
Safe , Since they are a dry cell if they get damaged there is no acid to spill or leak
Compact, they battery fits inside the energiser
Not temperature sensitive, the 9v dry cell still produces its full power at very low temperatures
Disadvantages :
Once the battery has run out it must be disposed of ( recycled ) it cannot be recharged.
