Electric Fencing Kits

Farmcare Uk offer a wide range of electric fencing kits to suit virtually any application.

Can’t see what you need or the kits are not quite right
Please email or call we can put together a kit for you

Things to consider when looking for a electric fencing kit.

If it is a permanent installation can mains power be used ?
even if the nearest power point 50 + meters away this can still work . The crucial part is that there is a route that the lead out wire can be installed safely.

Think about the maximum distance you MIGHT need to do in the future . If you are dividing up a field look at how you may have to have the field set up in 6 months not just today.
It is a lot cheaper to purchase a slightly more powerful energiser today  than to find the cheaper model is not adequate for your needs a few months later .

It is very easy to add  extra posts and tape / rope at a later date, but only if the energiser can power it ......

If the fences location is remote or moving 12v batteries around is impractical look at adding a solar panel.

Horses :
Look at the height of the horse , do you need 3ft posts or 4ft posts
If you do use 4ft post you will need to use two lines of tape / rope

Sheep :
Three lines of twine and remember to use a powerful energiser  sheep in full fleece are well insulated

Pigs:
Please see extra notes on the pig fencing page.

Fence Protection kits :
Do it as soon as a new fence in put up, don’t wait for signs of damage to appear.
