For Condition

SYMPTOMS
Poor top line and coat condition, looking a bit ribby and appearance not particularly good.

You have to recall what has happened to a horse in the previous six months to try and get some idea of why it should not be in the best of condition. Has it been wormed regularly for example? What sort of feed regime has it been on? Has it been fretting because it lost a companion, or is there any other history of problems?

When we look at nutrition for a horse we must remember that first and foremost, it is a single stomached fibre-eating animal. In its wild state, it would graze pasture, forage in the hedges for certain herbs and probably lick some soil. Today’s pastures do not contain the wild mixtures of grasses and herbs that they used to.

Understanding these factors led us to develop Advance Concentrate. This is truly light years ahead of other supplements for many reasons: Firstly, we have a unique way of blending minerals onto a yeast cream and then spray drying it. This makes the mineral virtually all digestible, whereas an ordinary rock based mineral is at best only 20-25% digestible. Secondly, we use 15% wheatgerm in Advance, which is particularly high in B vitamins. This compliments the B vitamins we already add to the mix. Thirdly, we include a large amount of a particular strain of Saccharomyces cerivisae yeast to greatly improve fibre digestion in the hindgut. There is also a lot of probiotics and prebiotics included to help digestion and to support the immune system. Finally, we make Advance in powder and pellet form to suit requirements. Our pelleting system is a cold process, so we don’t degrade any of these important and expensive ingredients with heat.

This is a complete type of equine supplement and is designed to maximise the use of fibre and to enable you to make significant savings on buying hard feed. You will not need to add anything else to the feed. Try it and be prepared to be amazed at the top line, coat and overall condition of your horse. In fact, we offer a full money back warranty on Advance if you have not seen any improvement in condition.

If you would prefer to keep to your normal feeding regime, then Pro-Bio would be a good choice, it has most of the things that Advance has but at lower levels.

When using either of these products, you will be able to keep the use of additional hard feed to a minimum, just ensure that your horse has a plentiful supply of good hay, haylage, chop or any good source of digestible fibre. Sugar beet is another good source of fibre, and you can always add some oil to increase calorific intake if that is needed when competing or any other strenuous activity that requires an extra boost of energy.
