This is usually brought about by feeding high levels of concentrated hard feed, something that a horses digestive process was not designed to do! The result of this practice means that much higher levels of gastric acid is produced to attempt to break it down for digestion, and then, of course, gastric ulceration occurs.

Gastro Shield has been developed especially to include a whole list of powerful ingredients to counter the effects of this gastric acid and six different herbs to help support and soothe the digestive tract. It has a particularly special effect in the nutritional support of the gut wall.
