For permanent fencing a gate handle is not always the best solution,
A lot of animals are very scared of the clicking that a gate handle touching the floor will create.
If the handle is left on the floor the fence beyond could well have no power and be dead.

The Gatetrix Gate contact set is easy to use and takes all types of tape and rope.

The metal parts of the set are made from Stainless steel so they will not rust and will last many years.
Tape ( not rope ) is fitted via the Gatetrix quick release system so it is easy to adjust and take up tension if required.



 Gatetrix Gate Contact Kit is our flagship product.  This enables electric fencing to be connected across a gate without the need for handles.  Gatetrix Gate Contact simply allows the gate to open and the circuit will automatically break, then reconnect when the gate is closed.
 
This removes the need to place gate handles on the floor when opening the gate.  It will also stop the electric fence arcing out when tapes are dropped and thus help maintain the full life of the energiser.
 
This eliminates any need to place barbed wire across an entry gate/5 bar gate, as this new system will allow electric tape or rope to be used easily across the gate instead.      

The standard gate contact projects forward from the gate and gate post, this allows them to be mounted over large catch systems.
