Hotline Mains Energisers - Super Eage, Condor and Peregrine
These energisers run from the mains (230 volt via the included mains adapter), with the option of a 12 volt battery back-up. They are made here in the UK in Newton Abbott and come with an impressive 5 year warranty. They have an LED 'load' light that lets you now the energiser is on and gives a good indication of the actual voltage on your fence line, giving reassurance that your electric fence is working effectively.. They also have high and low output terminals (pop it on high to train your animals, then to the low setting once the animals respect the fence).
These energisers are designed to be wall mounted.
There are 3 'strenghts' of energiser in this range. if in doubt, always go for the more powerful energiser!
Super Eagle 3 Joules
3.0 Stored Joule. 2.40 Output Joule. 30km max distance.
Powers up to 8 poultry nets and up to 10 sheep nets.
Condor 5 Joules
5.0 Stored Joule. 3.9 Output Joule. 40km max distance.
Powers up to 25 poultry nets and up to 15 sheep nets.
Peregrine 7 Joules
7.0 Stored Joule. 4.8 Output Joule. 60km max distance.
Powers up to 30 poultry nets and up to 25 sheep nets.
All these energisers require lead out cable (to go from your energiser to the start of the fence and to the earth stake) and at least 1 x 1m earth stake, ideally 2 x 1m earth stakes.
