This 'all-in-one' cordless clipper lets you both clip and trim your horse - and your dog too!  It is powerful enough for those with horses with 'normal' coats and it handle feathers and tough sections.  It is light, easy to hold and very quiet, making it a perfect solution for those with small hands or a nervous horse. The advantages of this type of clipper are:

This type of clipper is not suitable for a horse with very coarse hair or Cushings - for this you would want a heavy-duty full powered clipper.

Blades:  This clipper takes the A5 style snap on blades which come in a huge variety of sizes from a number of brands.  There are options to have a 5mm length blade (like the popular Covercote style), there are narrow and wide blades and there are blade guards that can snap over the blade to offer different clipping lengths.  You really do have a large range of blade options.  You can see some of the options in the drop down menu.  It is always a good idea to have at least 1 spare blade in case your blade hits something and goes blunt mid clip (no a good look!).

Comparable Products:  Heiniger Saphir Horse (longer warranty), Liveryman Harmony Plus (less power but less expensive).  

Don't forget!  Please make sure you use plenty of oil.  A small bottle is included but this will only last a couple of clips.  Add some more oil and hygienic spray from the drop down menu.  Oil protects your blades, keeps the blades cooler and makes everything run more smoothly.
