PAC Dog Training Collar - Rental Unit
Training dogs can be hard, but short term training can make your life much easier in the long run - and your dog's life much freer and safer. If you are trying to improve your dog's recall, stop them from nuisance barking, get them to follow direction from a distance, stop them from chewing, stop them jumping up or teach them not to do something or go somewhere, these training collars can really help.
In short, a collar goes around their neck, with a command unit attached. You then use a handheld controller to give your dog a selection of different physical sensations to change their focus and teach them to stop and listen.
The collar will not harm your dog - it is intended to keep them safe and allow them to run freely while still giving you some control. Options for sensations range from a vibration, to a buzz sound, to a small shock similar to a static shock you might get from a car door. You have control about what option you use, and what intensity you use. The idea is that once a dog has done something a couple of times and got an unpleasant sensation, they learn not to do it. You also use your voice at the same time, so eventually you can remove the collar and the dog's behaviour is as you want it to be.
The collars come in different sizes, and with different ranges. For simplicity, our rental units come in Mini-S, M-L or L-XL. And go up to 1km. Full details for each option are below. Again, for simplicity our rental collars offer all 3 stimuli, but you are in complete control over which stimuli you use for your dog's needs.
Rental Periods are as follows:
2 weeks: £50 (allowing you to test the collar and see if it works for your dog)
4 weeks: £75
2 months: £150
3 months: £200
4 months plus - you now own the collar!
We charge the full amount for the collar as a deposit. Then, once the collar is returned, we refund whatever is owed, minus the rental period.
PAC dog has a range of dog training collars, to help keep your dog and others safe while you are training them to run off lead. These collars have a choice of different deterrents, ranging from warning tones, vibrations, to small electric shocks, which you can set at a level that works for your dog. The aim is to use the collar, in combination with your voice, to train your dog to behave in the desired way and to return to you when you call them (with lots of praise). The collars do not hot hurt dogs and are safe - in fact they are designed to let your dog enjoy the freedom of being off lead, while staying safe themselves, and not hurting other animals.
The system comes with a controller, which you hold, and one collar that goes around your dogs neck. You can purchase additional collars that can work from the same controller (see details below for each kit).
PAC dog training systems are ideal for the all types of persistent problems:
- Dogs running away, or being willfully ‘deaf’ to recall
- Jumping up on people or stealing food
