Professional Electric Fence Kit For Bowling Greens - keep the foxes, badgers and pests away
This electric fence kit is designed for approximately 40m square bowling green and is a great solution for fox and badger problems. It can be run by a 12 volt leisure battery (not included but available as an 'extra') or from the mains (be sure to add high voltage lead out wire).
This Bowling Green Electric Fence Kit is easy to set up. You place the 30 posts (105cm high) evenly spaced around your bowling green. The posts have hooks and loops to run your electric polywire through. You will have 6 lines of polywire running, equally spaced around your fence.
You will have a 'gate' which has 6 x spring gates.
Finally, you will have your high power Gemini 120 energiser to power your electric fence. This energiser is made here in the UK and comes with a 5 year guarantee. It can work from a 12 volt leisure battery (please don't use a car battery) or from the mains. It has a light to let you know it is working. It has clips to attach to your electric fence, and it has an earth stake.
The kits is easy to move and maintain. It does not need to run in a circle - it can be in a straight line, or any formation that works for your set-up.
To make your fence extra strong, it's a great idea to have wooden posts (not included) at the corners, but this is not possible for many.

- 3 x bundles of 10 (so 30 in total) 3ft green electric fence posts
- 6 x Spring gate handles
- 4 x warning signs
- 3 x twin packs of heart-to-heart connectors (to make each line of your fence live)
- 1 x fence tester
If you have any wooden posts, add 6 x ring insulators for each post you have. Ring insulators are inexpensive and come in bags of 50. They are simple to screw into wooden posts. Your electric polywire must not tough the wooden posts directly.
If you are running this from the mains, you will also need to add High Voltage Lead Out Wire. This comes in different lengths (10m, 25m, 50m, 100m). You need enough wire to run from your mains to your fence. The energiser should be plugged into the mains, and the wire then runs from the energiser to your fence. You will also need enough wire to run from your energiser to your earth stake.
If you are running this from a 12 volt battery, you must add a Leisure battery for 75Ah or higher. You can also add a solar panel to charge the battery. If not, your battery will need charging every couple of weeks.
