When was the last time you checked your Lister Star filter? These filters can be problematic. Once clogged, they can’t be cleaned and it is best to get a new filter. Your filter should be changed at least every couple of years. They are easy to remove, so take yours off and have a quick check. A filter is a critical part of your clipper and if the filter has fallen apart or if it’s dirty it does not let any hair through and it is time for a new one! Do NOT run your clipper with out a filter in place the hair and muck that gets in will only shorten the life of your clipper.
