This year, not only do you get your mains operated Lister Star Horse clipper, but you also get a Pocket Pro trimmer, a shampoo and conditioner, a brush, a hood pick and a sturdy Lister hold-all for all your kit.  The clipper comes with an A2F blade as standard, but at FarmCare, as extra value for our customers, we will change the blade to suit your needs - to the easy to use Medium blade (a favourite for most because it doesn't leave as many 'tram lines' and has a nice natural look), the popular Covercote blade (clips to 5mm and a hit with those showing their horses) or the Coarse blade (good for cushings or horses with really coarse hair).

The Lister Star is a great option for anyone with between 1 and 3 horses with 'normal' hair, who is happy with a mains operated machine (the cord is approx. 5 metres long).  If you are clipping more horses, or if they have very challenging hair, you may need a clipper with more power - something like the Eclipse or the Fusion. 

The Star comes with a 2 year warranty, and is made here in the UK.  It is quite light to hold and is a good option for small hands.  It has reasonably low vibrations for a full size clipper, but if you have a very nervous horse, you may want to consider something more like the Heiniger Saphir Horse or the Liveryman Harmony Plus.

This Lister Star promotion really is fantastic value.  It costs £30+ to get somebody to clip your horse, and the horse is often more relaxed if they know the person clipping them. Plus you can tidy your horse as and when required.
