Overall, the Heiniger Saphir is a more powerful and robust clipper, which is why it is the choice of the professionals.  If you are clipping a lot of animals, or if you have a yard or a horse with a very coarse coat, the Saphir is definitely worth the extra money.  It will last longer and work harder.  If, however, budget is a concern and you only have 1 or possibly 2 horses, the Harmony Plus is a real bargain.  The Liveryman Harmony Plus lets you easily clips a horse with an 'easy' coat, without having a separate trimmer and without worrying about tensioning blades.
